1) Do they have a phone number? If they say they do, try it, It's likely to be an answer machine.
2) Make sure your hosting has more than just an eMail for their contact?
3) Has the hosting business only got a PO BOX Number?
4) Even though they may say they are in Australia, make sure their "Servers" are in Australia?
5) And the most IMPORTANT thing is! Do they display an actual street address for their office?

They may claim to have a phone number, but they won't answer it. Try it to find out if it is just an answer machine, automated response, or a fax number. Check that their address is really where their business address is located. VERY IMPORTANT! Never give your credit card details to a business that tries to hide it's identity. Also, never give out your "Date Of Birth" when filling out a Credit Card payment form… To be honest this worries us allot! Why would any business or company need your DOB when requesting your credit card details?? Please go careful. Please remember that if you do sign up with a bogus business using your credit card, and give out all your personal details, you can loose everything. Once they have your details you are at risk of loosing your personal identity including your Credit Card Details and the loss of many $$$ including your life savings...
Choose a name you can trust
If they don't have all of the above, you're in trouble before you start. Yes they WILL sign you up in a flash, but don't expect ANY help if you need to contact them.
